Vallejo Model Color – Iraqi Sand

Iraqi Sand is the go-to pale desert tone for modern military modelling think sun-bleached vehicles, dusty basing and worn webbing. It’s a clean, warm sand that takes weathering beautifully and doubles as a bright highlight over darker khakis.

Best for

• Modern desert vehicle schemes
• Basing, dust and dry-brushing
• Highlighting browns and khakis

A pin-wash into the recesses and a light dry-brush of Iraqi Sand over the top is all it takes to make a desert vehicle look properly baked and battered.

The definitive modern desert sand. Pair it with an earth wash and the wider Vallejo Model Color range for the full theatre.
