Tamiya Acrylic Paint Mini XF-84 Dark Iron

Not every metal surface on a model should shine gun barrels, tracks and tools spend their working life filthy, and XF-84 gives you that deep, worn, oiled-steel look straight from the jar.

Best for

• Gun barrels, tracks, tools and other heavily used metalwork
• Grimy, realistic iron surfaces that need weight without going glossy

Dry-brush it over a black base for tracks that look like they’ve actually seen a battlefield.

Genuine Tamiya flat metallic acrylic, 10ml jar. A bottle of X-20A thinner keeps it smooth for brushing into recesses or airbrushing larger areas.
