AK Interactive Real Colors – RLM 74 (RC941)

One of the two tones that define the mid-war Luftwaffe fighter. RLM 74 was a standard upper-surface camouflage colour introduced in 1941, worn by fighters, heavy fighters and night fighters until officially replaced in summer 1944 though in practice it soldiered on to the end of the war. If you build 109s and 190s, this is a colour you’ll always want on the bench.

Best for

• Upper surfaces of mid-war Luftwaffe fighters
• Heavy fighters and night fighters, 1941 to war’s end
• Bf 109 and Fw 190 camouflage

Paired with RLM 75 over an RLM 76 base, it gives that classic hard-and-soft-edged fighter scheme the heart of any mid-war German build.

A mid-war Luftwaffe fighter essential. Pair it with RLM 75 and RLM 76 from the AK Real Colors range.
