Abteilung 502 Oil Paint – Primary Yellow (AKABT535)

Primary Yellow is about as versatile as an oil gets. Used neat it’s a clean, warm yellow with plenty of presence; dropped into a mix it lifts greens and oranges into something brighter and livelier, so it earns its place across figures, vehicles and dioramas alike. It’s the sort of tone you’ll always want within arm’s reach.

Best for

• Clean warm yellow used on its own
• Lifting greens and oranges in a mix
• Brightening highlights on figures and vehicles
• Warming up a cooler palette

Keep it on the mixing tray rather than in the drawer it’s the colour that stops greens and oranges looking muddy.

A dependable warm mixer. Pair it with Cadmium Red for rich oranges, and see the rest of the Abteilung 502 oil range for more.
