1954 Argus (116) Ray Poulter Richmond

The Argus issued football cards again in 1954. The cards could be obtained via post or collected at the Argus offices in Melbourne for three consecutive vouchers that appeared in the newspaper plus sixpence. This set shows actual photographs of a player?s head superimposed on an action cartoon drawing of a body and football ground in the background. A facsimile signature also appears on the front. The cards have a blank reverse.
