Vallejo Light Grey Wash

A lighter panel-line wash for pale and dusty schemes. Vallejo’s Light Grey Wash, from the Model Wash range, is a ready-to-use, high-capillarity acrylic that flows into panel lines and recesses to define detail and add wear without the harshness of a dark wash on light-coloured vehicles. Dries in about 20 minutes and cleans up with water.

Best for

• Panel lines and recesses on light-coloured armour, aircraft and vehicles
• Subtle shading, dust effects and filters that won’t overpower pale schemes
• Brush or airbrush; dries in about 20 minutes; cleans up with water

On a desert or grey scheme it defines detail without the heavy-handed look a black wash would leave.

The gentle wash for light and dusty schemes. Pair it with a grey wash for deeper shadows and a matt varnish to seal.
